NPA Convention and Expo

Brian Sidman has been active in the commercial real estate sphere for more than a decade, and in 2014 founded BAS Holdings in Miami. As part of his efforts to stay current within the professional sphere, Brian Sidman maintains membership in the National Parking Association (NPA).

The NPA will hold the 2018 NPA Convention and Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 22, 2018. This four-day event will bring together professionals from all areas associated with parking, as well as many exhibitors and vendors.

Those interested in advancing their knowledge of the field can attend NPA Convention Education events during the expo. Some are general education events that focus on building general skills or theoretical understanding. Others offer certification and credentials, such as the Certified Parking Professional designation or the Valet Operations Certificate.

The convention will also host many networking events for parking-industry professionals. These events will provide activities that allow participants to bond, share stories, and cultivate the connections that could assist in taking their careers to the next level.

National Parking Association's Winter Leadership Forum

An entrepreneur in the real estate sector, Brian Sidman is the founder of BAS Parking Group, LLC., in North Miami, Florida. In this role, he leads the firm in acquiring assets in the niche parking market. Active in his professional community, BAS Parking Group is a member of the National Parking Association (NPA), which will hold its Winter Leadership Forum from February 3 through 7, 2018.

The NPA’s annual Winter Leadership Forum will take place at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida, and will bring together executives in the parking industry for a thought-provoking leadership conference. The forum is geared toward senior-level professionals who are interested in engaging in discussions on competitive advantage and growth strategies.

One of the stand-out sessions of the event is the Damus CEO Forum, which will consist of an interview of an industry leader centered on industry trends and factors that lead to success. Participants can also attend the Executive Sustainability Series to explore the intersection of parking and development and how the two can come together to increase sustainability and improve return on investment. The Winter Leadership Forum will also feature a Tech Briefing on technology in the parking industry and a Legal Forum to give attendees a deeper understanding of contract law and legal precedent.
